in 2009, a hair stylist was born when Bernadette graduated Paul Mitchell The School in North Haven.
Since then, Bernadette has worked in salons in Fairfield, Orange and Milford before she took a chance on herself as a self-employed business owner in 2018.

Since then, Bernadette has worked in salons in Fairfield, Orange and Milford before she took a chance on herself as a self-employed business owner in 2018.
After such a few short years, an opportunity landed in her lap and she acquired A Salon Spot with the hopes of being able to educate other stylists so they too can live out their dream.
Bernadette is proficient in all types of color and haircuts, wedding updos and makeup.
She is certified in multiple Keratin Smoothing Treatments, GlamSeamless Hair Extensions, Microlink Hair Extensions, Vlight extensions,and Temptu Air Brush Makeup. Her color education includes classes by Gina Kahn and the Matrix Team, Kenra, Aveda Color, Paul Mitchell, and Scruples. Educated in Up-dos by award winning stylists Nicholas French and Mitch Stone. And specializes in dry cutting and texturizing techniques perfected and trained by Mike Karg and Jon Reyman.
When Bernadette is not at either salon or working weddings, you can catch her working backstage at The Shubert, Oakdale and Waterbury Palace theaters, were she designs and style wigs for the musicals and shows that come to town.
Bernadette is a proud cat mom, avid traveler and boater in her free time.

Sarah is a graduate of TIGI Academy in Guilford and joined the Salon Spot team in 2022.
She is fanstastic at all hair colors and haircuts and has completed the "Masters of Balyage" course, which consists
of a 12 week extensive training course including balayage, various blonding placements, dimensional colors, and toning.

She is is certified and educated in Masters of Balayage, Lasio Keratin Smoothing treatment, Olaplex, Pravana Hair Color, and Dream Catchers Hair extensions, Joico color, as well as taking various haircutting and color classes in NYC.
While Sarah is skilled in both cutting and color, her true passion shines through when it comes to blonding, creative and dimensional colors.
When not at the salon, she loves to cuddle with her dogs, look for missing pets, and spend time with her daughter and husband.

Ashley came to us from the previous salon owner. Although she is her own business inside ours, she is just as much part of this team and we are lucky to have her. Ashley is our bilingual artist, and is a super proud mom of 4 wonderful children and one amazing husband. She also loves and enjoys doing makeup and hairstyling for NY and Miami fashion week!
